2005 kit with 4 Young Bird HVR based on the collection by Henrie Stymerski build over many years from the birds obtained at the 1957 auction. Today this is still a family of winners on races which require endurance to win over 200-600mile . These HVRs can manage to get home before dark after 10-12 hours on the wing. The most impressive result this year was the 300 mile Suburban Special. We entered 3 birds which arrived on racing day in the dark after 10 hours flying. They had the urgency to come home no matter what. They won 2nd, 3rd and 4th place with only 5 day birds making it home that day. Many other great performances have been delivered.
